I read up on google first the health benefits of Binatog or white corn. And the information I got gave me a signal to have it despite eating it late at night. Binatog is rich in fiber which is a powerful nutrient to aid our digestion. It is also rich in folate, thiamin, phosphorus, vitamin C, and magnesium. For just Php 30, they serve you around 80 grams, topped with grated coconut, salt, sugar, and condensed milk. Together with all the toppings, it gives you layers of taste. alwayshungry.ph
Who doesn’t like goodness ‘old binatog? One spoonful and you could almost hear the man on a bicycle ringing his bell comin up the street! This brand however has made it to the bigs! Big but still didn’t manage to lose its street food wonder! Manong! I’ll take mine with a little salt, coconut and sugar!
Reminiscing my childhood when the Binatog was usually sold in pail by ‘manongs’ on bikes circling around the village. I decided to try this authentic Pinoy dish (a concoction of corn bits and coconut shreds) at Mr. Binatog. It’s good tasting, and you can get one for at least Php 20 bucks at this food stall. A good meal to satisfy a simple merienda quickie.
Another favorite classic filipino snack right here made available anytime of the day. I love binatog ever since i was akid and this resto brought it into a new level by offering different flavors. But nothing beats classic binatog with salt and sugar.
Just a typical binatog upgraded into a cart or food stall. The taste is just normal. I still love the native binatoof on a bicycle. The difference is that this has a variety of flavors to choose from. It’s more expensive than the manong roamig around on a bike. Nothi extraordinary here aside from it is standing in a cart.
I always wanted to eat binatog. I wonder why no one is roaming around in our village. Gladly, I saw Mr. Binatog and I told my friend I wanted to have one badly. I got the medium size which is just 25 pesos and additional 5pesos for each extra toppings. I had butter and cheese for the additionals. It was quick. It was delicious. It was marvelous.I wanted to have another one but he stopped and said we’re going now to Gerry’s Grill..Too bad they removed their outlet in SM Bacoor.
