Chicken was good but not as flavorful as I would expect. Seeing Louisiana as the state of origin, I was hoping for bold, strong flavors. Probably, the Spicy variant would deliver that taste I was looking for. Recommended.
Been here twice. Our first experience is the long line which is expected because it’s the only branch of Popeyes that time. People are drooling. The second time is good. For me, the fried chicken is great. But I don’t like the biscuit. Not what I expected from what I read about it.
Ordered their 6pc BUNDLE AThey ran out of rice that time, so they replaced our rice with their biscuits.Chicken – They were crispy and juicy but you cannot ask for a specific part of the chicken to be put in your bucket.I was quite disappointed because I was looking for flavor in their chicken and parang wala naman?! Nothing special in their chickenBiscuits – Have similar taste to pancakesSpaghetti – I loved the taste of their spaghetti. Eventhough it was an Italian Style Spaghetti, I’m sure that the kids will also love them.Crab Soup – This was our additional order. I was surprised that this tasted goodPlace and crew – The place is big but you have to wait outside for you to be seated because of their long line. Crew were nice but they are very slow in taking your requests (even the busing of your table).
As someone who was excited with the opening of Popeyes here in the Philippines, I was expecting that it will still be as juicy as it was before. However, I was really disappointed not with the chicken but with the gravy. The gravy has a weird taste and too oily really. While the Cajun Fries was too salty for me, I cannot taste the Cajun but more a salty flavor.
The reopening of Popeyes can be considered a success considering the timing and the change on the taste of their chicken. I can say that the chicken is crispier and juicier this time than the previous time they opened here! The place can be crowded during weekends and dinner time so had to take my food out! Outlet only has one toilet so you have to wait in line! Funny considering how big the restaurant is.
The shrimp sandwich is good. The fries tastes like kfc but soggy. The crab soup is quite tasty, the chicken size&quality became smaller from the 1st few week they opened.t tastes like jollibee chix but saltier&crunchier. The biscuit tastes good with honey. The spaghetti noodles are a bit dry, the taste is so so. Some of the staff esp the pickup counter are friendly while the lady order taker was a bit grumpy. The place is clean and ambience relaxed.
