We are always eating at Spring Deer when I was a kid and I love the food their, but we prefer the branch on San Juan. I pretty liked their duck, we always do it one way only, but sometimes we will request it to do it two way. And their birthday noodles is also delicious. For the dessert, we always ordered the almond with lychee or mango sago, but sometimes we would try their limited offer of avocado sago (seasonal).
Our family’s go to restaurant. Everything is so good. Love the staff! The food is always on point. My fave are the birthday noodles, Yang chow fried rice, cold cuts and the duck 3-ways.
This was a childhood fave and glad that they relocated! Went back here for the tofu (our constant fave) and it was still good! But it arrived so late. The sizzling oysters had small bones or something sharp so we were put off by it. The fried rice was okay. They have big servings! Service was also good.
Nice place to dine in with family and friends and their set menu are great as well. perfect place to have gatherings as well. great service and foodmust try for me areorange spareribs – tender meats and balance flavor or savory, citrus and a bitnof sweetnesscold cuts – yes to this especially the asado and jelly fish, ive tried a lot of jelly fish but nothing beats thissteamed lapu lapu – fresh! seasoned just right and cooked perfectlyhot prawn salad – the appreance doesnt look too smooth unlike others but the breading is thin and has a nice balance of flavor in each bitemango sago – of course the classic especially now its season so you get really sweet mangoespata tim – tender, meaty and cooked perfectlyyou may also try other dishes which are just good or typical items you can ordersizzing oysteryang chow fried ricefookie fried riceroast duck one way
I miss the old branch but I grew up eating Spring Deer and I love the staff and the food. Duck is the same as I remember it (I only like it one way) as well as the delicious mango shake. My family got a lot of vegetable dishes and noodles as well which I enjoyed.
Great food and great staff. Very accommodating. We ordered only too items but it will fill up your stomach. The Shrimp was delicious, good to eat with your hands. The Peking Duck is and always tastes great, so very good.
