  Friendly owner, lots of koreans dine here as well so you know its not bad. they cook your meat for you and even offer to cook it in a separate grilling area so you wont smell like KB after. they’re generous with their portions and have a lot of banchan available. rice is very good as well. only drawbacks were how the chapchae, chicken and other hot items werent hot (or at least warm) owner needs to invest in better chafing dishes. Also limited meat and veggie options for shabu shabu. overall, worth the price. we are regulars 🙂

  I really like their kimchi!! And it was nice of them to accept us even tho they were about to have a break and will open again at 1700H because we went there at 1430H and they will be closed at 1500H

  This place used to be called About Shabu-Shabu and I LOVED their shabu-shabu. Now they are serving unlimited samgyeopsal which I think is a bang for the bucks but their food in the buffet is not so much. Its already cold and the quality seems to be going downhill. They do not serve shabu-shabu anymore and that made me really sad.

  I am glad they changed this place. Before it was a haven for drunk people and the place was filled with cigarette smoke. The staff always looked so stressed and the customers were very disrespectful. Now it is a place you can bring the whole family. They still have the same menu if you do not want the buffet option. The staff and owner seem much less stressed out and overall it is a much better dining experience.

  Same owner, different name. This place is now called OAK Grill and Bbq and they have an unlimited samgyeopsal and beef offer that comes with a huge selection of banchan that it is already a buffet. Prices starts at Php 499. It may be a little too expensive compared to the ones in the metro but once you get to see the selection it’s totally worth it.

  The staff were very friendly, and the owner was super nice! So glad they no longer allow smoking inside the restaurant, making it a true family friendly place to dine. The tables are arranged strategically so you won’t feel cramped and freely go back and forth from your table to the buffet and drinks area. The food selection is surely worth the price, plus the complimentary drink choices that come with the spread. The chapchae is hands down, one of the best I’ve had! Much better than the one at Vikings to be honest. Another surprising bonus is the free ice cream for dessert! Overall, the place exceeded my expectations and the experience was so great that we would definitely go back!

  Not the best Korean BBQ but its good enough.–== AMBIANCE ==–At the outside, it looks like a cheap girly bar. Passed by this several times before we actually tried it. In the inside it looks more like an old house that was converted into a restaurant. They didn’t even try to make it feel like a proper restaurant. There are mismatched chairs and tables and that’s it. It feels like a roadside carinderia.–== SERVICE ==–It’s self-service so not much need for service. And when you do need service, it can be hard to get sometimes. It’s really not that bad since you do everything on your own anyway.–== FOOD QUALITY ==–The food is actually good. It’s not the best but it’s something I’d eat again. They have a small buffet selection which works quite well. You get what you pay for in a positive sense.Not the best but we still like it anyway. curiouscoupletravels.com
