We found this place by accident when were looking for a food joint one Sunday evening. It just so happened that the establishment was situated at a gas station where we stopped by to fill our tanks so we decided to give this one a shot. It was still newly refurbuished from an old eatery when we visited. The number one thing that will pop out is that the meals are good for groups. Your food will be cooked at your table so you know they are fresh. For the entertainment, at times they show a pretty good and recent movie. There’s also a bookshelf containing books, manga, and other Japanese reads. The staff are very friendly accommodating. They will make sure you have a nice time in there. The owner is just as nice when you get to talk to her. She shared that they don’t have takeouts because it will diminish the quality of the dishes when they are in a container and should take a while to reach your place if ever.As for the food, all of them were winners in my eyes. I really think you cannot go wrong with anything! The place is very suited for your barkada’s night out. Meals are priced reasonably. If I remember correctly, they also have promos on some days where beer is discounted when you order at least one dish.My profile says that I am constantly in search of the diamonds in the rough. Well, I think this is one of them!
We went during their soft opening not knowing what to expect. Even though their menu was not yet fully available, what was available was great. We went back the next day and brought more people to try it. They loved it also.
I can sum it all up in one word—MEDIOCRE. The food wasn’t all that bad, but given the price? It was too expensive. A 50 peso okonomiyaki is available at the small ryuma stall at the wet and dry market in Paseo. And their beef. Oh my god. I regret buying it from them. I could have bought some from the grocery and prepared them myself.
go here for okonomiyaki. it was perfectly cooked and with fresh authentic ingredients. service was good and friendly. the other dishes were a bit so-so though
