Had one of the best dinner here. Super worth it. We loved the fishballs. Sizzling bulalo which is so tender and good! We had paella filipino which is also good but not wow. Saktong sakto pa ang sagot gulamon as for our drinks!!!Will come back for sure.
Ordered Leandro (Laing with Lechon Kawali) and Tarsilo (sautéed squid if I’m not mistaken). Food was good! I wish there was more of us so we could order more. Excited to try their other dishes soon. Everything looks so good on the menu!
I get that this is a kind of high end restaurant but the food’s taste is so-so for me. I do admit that the sizzling bulalo was very tender and tasty. But the other things we ordered such as the sizzling tofu, kare kare, fishballs, chicharon, and salpicao, weren’t really standing out. So to me, they taste like typical filipino food which makes it not worth the price.
Delicious and tasty Filipino food. Big serving of food for sharing. I love their bagumbayan lechon or crispy liempo and pork sisig. I love their presentation of food. Good quality of food.
Serves Authentic Filipino food with a twist. Chef Florabel’s creations never disappoint. To start we had the crazy Sisa salad which had green mango and crispy squid. As our mains we had the beef kare Kare, the bagoong served on the side is really tasty and the San Gabriel chicken served with pineapple sauce and banana ketsup on the side. This chicken give’s Max’s a run for its money, Very Tasty the kids loved it. And ofcourse since I have kids, I had to order noodles. The escolta is an excellent choice, glammed up version of the pancit canton. It’s a great place to eat at sta. Rosa nuvali it’s near the fish feeding place, and you can eat while you wait for your turn to ride the Boat. My only complaint is they do not have a bathroom, they point you out to the public restroom outside and the line is horrendous. They should not scrimp on bathrooms when you put up a restaurant. The other restaurants had their own.
Crisostomo boasts of a menu of simple Filipino Food done quite well. From the flavorful crispy pata to the savory bulalo and the creamy laing. Dining here gives you a deeper appreciation of Traditional Filipino Food food thay commonly gets taken for granted. gastrofreak22.blogspot.com
