When craving for grilled food, Gerry’s Grill is definitely an option! They have different branches nationwide to satisfy your hungry Filipino palate and this review is for their Southwoods Mall outlet– the one nearest Solenad. Inihaw na Manok consists of 6pc. chicken and tastes so much more than just grilled chicken. The sauce it was marinated with adds up to its unique flavor up to the bones. Crispy Pata is a classic Filipino favorite and their version didn’t disappoint. We came across Crispy Pata in other Gerry’s Grill branch and the pork skin was gummy. In Southwoods Mall’s, we were satisfied by the pata’s crunchiness and flavor within. Chopseuy is the priciest among the vegetables but it’s worth it, there are lots of mini vegetables included.Their place is larger than other branches. The staff were nice too. We requested to be seated in a cool area but the waitress told us that she would just open the air conditioning nearest us. Some were still closed because there were still few customers when we went here. Our food was served in exactly 20 minutes.

We came here around 2:30 in the afternoon and were surprised that there was still a queue in getting a table. From the outside looking in, we noticed that there were several unoccupied, although uncleared, tables. When none of the people waiting outside seems to be getting seated, my friend went inside the restaurant and asked if the unoccupied tables are actually reserved. She also asked to speak to the manager but the staff couldn’t (or wouldn’t) lead her to anyone, and offered her a table instead. The restaurant area is quite big and it seems that they were under-staffed. Thankfully, food was good (or we were just really hungry).
