Meal sets are worth the price, and the food is well prepared and cooked. Our go to place for delicious ramen! Staff were cordial and service was satisfactory.
One of the Japanese restaurants here in PH that has consistency in every branch. The food, ambience and the staff are the reasons why I frequently eat at this katsu and ramen house.
This place can be your go to place if you want to have a ramen fix. I like the creamy shio ramen better because the broth is tastier. The meal set is also fully satisying and their tonkatsu is good.I don’t recommend their tsukumen. The noodles are tasteless and you might as well order a ramen or go to a Tsukemen place in Manila.
Dined here 8.5.2018Place was packed as usual but the table turnover was fast since it was around 1pm at the time we arrived. Place is a bit small but enough to accommodate around 8 people comfortably on a long table.Place:The place is quite nice, felt the Japanese vibe along the way. Tables are situated accordingly. Love the good atmosphere of the place.Food:Ordered the Set Menu A. Ramen + Katsu combo. This is good for 2 (buuuut if you have the appetite for 2 then you might opt to order for yourself). Ramen was cooked quite good – love the broth and the texture of the noodles. Katsu was cooked neatly as well. I like the presentation. And they have good service. The only thing i could suggest for improvement is that they don’t notice the customers when we try to call their attention. Its been difficult to call their attention at times.Other than that, i am satisfied with this restaurant. Maybe its just the place was packed at the time of dining but that shouldn’t be the case.
Food & Lenten SpecialThis was my first time to try a seafood-type tsukemen: Hokkaido Tsukemen. I won’t say it’s the best I’ve tried because I still prefer pork broth’s rich flavor. But for salmon with veggies, this was still pretty good. Of course, dunking noodles will always be fun. With this dish, I needed to keep the noodles in the dip a long time to become flavorful to my liking. And with good timing, I was able to share an order of free Salmon Onigiri with my friends.ServiceI’m a non-believer of service charge because I feel excellent service should be inclusive of every dine-in experience. Nevertheless, we received really good service and my concern is directed towards the owner, not the staff. Staffers’ greetings are very much appreciated!(April 2018)-Shio RamenThis was the best order from our most recent visit. Broth was very hot and tasty with some thinly cut meat and soft noodles. I prefer noodles extra hard but this was okay for the time being.Tsukemen (Chicken, sorry forgot the exact name)This, on the other hand, wasn’t so great. What I enjoyed was the harder noodle texture but the flavor was milder than the Shio Ramen. The deal breaker was the temperature, being warm instead of hot (like our ramen). If it was meant to be served this way, I’ll get something else next time.(December 2018)
We love their awase aji ramen. Their ramen with meal set is also superb. The staffs were attentive too. Overall, it was a good dining experience.
The food was average at best and the staff requires more supervision as there seemed to be none. Tables weren’t tidied up between courses. Perhaps this isn’t a full service restaurant. Plates were haphazardly placed on our tables. There was a fly buzzing around us. The staff seemed indifferent and too busy chatting amongst themselves. This Will be our last time.
