Usually eat here when I’m out with the fam and usually order kare kare, sizzling tofu, and fried chicken which are best sellers as well. Price is just right. Service could be better but is still pretty good overall.
We dined here me and my kids and they would always say that the pinaputok na bangus belly as well as sinigang na hipon is to die for. The chicken still is the same but the semi formal experience to dine is what my kids would usually like.
A go to place when you have a lunch meeting and you don’t want to think and try some other place. (OR maybe it’s just me, haha) Of course one has to order chicken when dining in this establishment. The other dish that we sampled that sings its praises on the menu was the stuffed tofu and adobong kangkong, it did not disappoint as it is not overly salty and the tofu is not sour. Staff were very helpful though I asked for a warm water and they gave me an ice cold one, just like my ex’s heart haha.
Very poor service. We already finished our meals and the Chicken Sisig – still – has not been served, after about seven to eight times of following up!The thing that made me conclude about their service is because I heard them (two waiters) mumbling to themselves about the Chicken Sisig whilst serving the tables around us, and neither of the two had the guts to approach our table and politely inform us what happened to the food.I know it’s Christmas day (and may be the reason why the employees are disgruntled is because they are not with their families)* but you are in service, so maybe look at least a little lively and attentive?*except for one of the crew who looks like their back-up, because he’s not wearing the waiters’ uniform and he’s wearing a santa hat and green polo shirt. We surely have had better experience at your branch if he was the one serving, or if only all of you could be more like him. Also, your comfort room stinks.
To save my self from carbo loading, I ordered two pieces of lumpiang ubod. I didn’t mind that it was served cold. At least I felt fresh and healthy eating greens. LolMy companions got their mango cream dessert. It’s a layer of cream, crumbled graham crackers, fresh mangoes and dusted with carmel biscotti. Sort of another name for Mango Float. It would have been better if it was serve chilled.#Backlog
