Good food and good staff. I suggest you have tidbits of samplers for customers to be able to try your pastries before buying them. We bought Apple bread cake but we didn’t like it. We wanted to buy mango squares but were hesitant because it was relatively new to their menu. Had it not been for the good service of the staff then I would have given it a lower rating.

Love Purple Oven’s pastries and cakes. Delicious and reasonably priced.For my most recent visit here, I got our favorite 2 Salmon and Egg Turnovers, Broccoli and Cheese Quiche, Parmesan Pretzel and Little Carrot Cake.I ate the quiche and cake right away as well as 1 of the 2 turnovers so I wasn’t able to take a picture. All 3 were delicious. The carrot cake is light and moist with a cream cheese frosting which I like – wish it were richer but just the same I love it because sometimes lighter is good.I froze the 2 other breads and reheated them in the oven days after and they were still very very good. I scored them so that the heat would penetrate until the middle. Once heated (a bit) through, placed salted butter (lots!) in the crevices and put it back in the oven until melted and it made the breads even better.That’s why sometimes I like taking home breads more because I can add butter and heat them through as if they were freshly baked.Didn’t give a perfect score because they don’t accept credit cards and they also don’t have big paper bags with handles. You’ll be forced to buy their eco bag, good thing I always have a foldable one in my handbag. So like in my case, I had 3 mini paper bags and a small cake box handed to me all at once. They should at least provide a bigger paper bag with handle for customer’s convenience without charge.
Most amazing chocolate cake I’ve tasted after my mom’s(who passed away years ago) it so happens that I miss her that day. Will definitely come back for again.
Every birthday anyone from the family would always bring a cake from purple oven. Not so sweet! It helps with members of the family that doesn’t have sweet tooth.
I usually order their lemon bars, food for the gods and chocolate revel bars to go or to gift to friends. Their lava cakes are good and not too sweet. They don’t always sell it per piece though. Try their cakes if you’d like something different than the usual cakes in other cake shops.
what started as a home prepared pastry box for gift giving has turned into a full fledged pastry shop and cafe. great service. excellent pastries and food. unlike other shops that only specializes in particular items, most of purple oven’s products are high level and made with high grade materials. you can taste it in the chocolate! snapsnstories.blogspot.com
