Tried all their ramens (excluding the limited edition ones) and they’re unsurprisingly nice but Tonkotsu broth’s still really rich even when you tick the lightest on their checklist. I find them “nakakaumay”. No wonder why this is a hit to most of Filipinos. The (over) rich-tasting broth, fatness/cholesterol of the meat contents, the hint of sweetness, and all other stuff Pinoys would really love. No offense to Ramen Nagi fans out there! I strongly think that we have different tastes when it comes to eating our preferred ramens. Restaurant’s ambiance is very, very nice though. Lighting on point! Perfect for food pictures! Very attentive and approachable staff, and fast service.
Ordered butao ramen – chef’s recommendation. Taste is just right, not too dense and salty. It has generous amount of noodles and its noodles are firm, slip in your mouth. Their service water doesnt tastes chlorine. Nice place, has semblance of legit japanese resto however the waiters and cooks are too noisy, sometimes they’re quite irritating as they are too loud.
For me, Ramen Nagi is one of the best authentic Ramen houses in the country. So this review is based on Mom’s opinion.Food – Soup was very rich and satisfying. Sides were superb nonetheless. Will definitely come back.Place – When in Nuvali branch, try the seats outside. The restaurant itself is a small area.Price – The price commensurates the quality.
The ramen is great but too pricey compared to other ramen places with the same quality. The place is also too small but staff were attentive, also you can customize your ramen or go with the chef’s recommendation
We were here for my birthday and we ordered Butao King. It is one of the best Ramen in town for its taste but a little bit pricey. I like a mouthful of noodles. Their noodles are a little bit thin for me so I just make it soft. I also like my soup to be rich and a little bit spicy. Spicy makes food good and a little more exciting. The taste of their soup is really good. Yes, you can customize your ramen from taste to meat to spicy level to firmness of your noodles; and all your add ons. You’re the boss! Haha! The serving will really make you full, no doubt!Ramen is a go-to comfort food any time of the day. If you haven’t tried Ramen Nagi, well, you should.
While Ramen Nagi is not my favorite brand, their Solenad branch is our go-to as this is the only good ramen place near work. Even on weekdays, expect the place to be busy, more so during dinner time. Girls would be pleased to know that they have baskets under the seats for bags. They also offer bibs to protect your clothes from broth stains.Their default bowls are all OK. If you’re feeling a little adventurous, do try the Midori (Green King), which may scandalize ramen traditionalists with its incorporation of basil and parmesan cheese. If feeling more adventurous, Ramen Nagi releases special Limited Kings every few weeks. They’ve put out variants like binagoongan and such. I particularly loved their Black Curry, which looked like a scary, spicy, black/yellow mess when served, but it was goooood.
The best ramen i have tasted in Sta Rosa. Very rich in flavor..and you can customize it. I will definitely come back. Good value for money..
