I have been to both branches of You Got Baked, the original branch in Laguna Bel Air 2 and the one in the Solenad 3.I am not sure if it is because of my age, or the café’s target demographic and preferences, but it honestly is not for me.The ambience was more geared towards a pre-teen to young adult girl as the aesthetics were pink and doll-like, and the music was too loud for my liking. The service was alright, it could use some improvement as there have been instances where the servers are not exactly the most courteous to their clientele. The food, this one I would have to be more honest, but it was just too sweet for me. Everything. Including the savoury items they have.Again it might have just been my personal preferences in conflict with the café’s offerings, but I can say that I am not the target demographic for this establishment.
You’ve Got Baked is perfect for conversations with friends over coffee and snacks because the place is quiet and cozy.My favorite is the Nacho Chili Cheese Fries which comes in huge servings that is good for sharing.
Good cupcakes inside an instagrammable place right inside Solenad. If you’re looking for some desserts around the area, this could be a good option. Since me and my friends were tired after all the eating, we decided to get some desserts in this place. As we entered, the staff greeted us which is always a plus on my books. The decors immediately caught my attention. Really loud colors, well coordinated, and great fixtures!Alright, so we got a lot but here’s my highligts. > Velvetty Red cupcake – Good taste but kinda dry icing on top. Feels like an old batch to be honest. > Cookie Dough cupcake – Sounds good but not really good. Too sweet so better avoid. > Will Ferrero cupcake – Fave cupcake among the bunch. Really moist and not overpoweringly sweet.> Milo Dinosaur – Really great drink. I know it’s really just milo but I super loved it for some reason. > Hazelnut Cappucino – Was also good and had that amazing cute art too! Nutty and sweet coffee taste. Nice!> Pork Kebab – Yes we still ordered meals, hahahaha. Super duper moist and well cooked. I loved this one more than the other cupcakes.Service was not as fast as I hoped. Need for the servers to be more attentive.
I’ve loved them since we discovered their branch at Bel Air years ago.Their prices increased since they opened another branch but I still always crave for their cupcakes which I find so much better than Vanilla Cupcake’s and Sonja’s.
Cute place to have a get together for girls who love pink and princess-y decor! I come here for the ambiance or to hang out. Their coffee is cheap for its amount, the food is cheap as well but I would not come back for it. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cute place! But for food, not really.
Place is good if you want to hang out with friends, colleagues, and family. Very “millenial” place where you can take a lot of instagram-able photos. Food is okay. I recommend the Red Velvet cupcake.
First of all, you’ll notice the cafe’s interiors and overall design. It was kid/student-friendly. It was chic and cute, similar to a doll house. It was an Instagram-worthy place. I was surprised how they have a wide variety of dishes to offer despite being a cafe. I initially thought they only serve desserts, bread/cupcakes, pasta, shakes (like the usual cafe), but they also serve Grilled Tanigue, beef Salpicao, Chicken Kiev, Pork Kevab, etc.As for the service, most of the time, the servers were on the counter. Not sure if that’s the usual thing there but we can appreciate if somebody can go outside the counter and assist us as well, or even talk to us. Price range is on the average side. They first offered us different cupcakes and rice meals. The beef is chewy though I like that it has a garlicky taste. The skewers looked dry but the marinade made it flavorful. As for the cupcakes, I liked the one with the Ferrero on top. The icing is generous in serving + it was delectable. The penne pasta is creamy but spicy. As for their frappes and milkshake, the chocolate one reminds me of chocolait’s taste but less sweeter. The other one I tried has a mocha-ish flavor.Price range is definitely affordable.
