Hindi na masarap yung bulalo. Bukod sa napakamahal na ng benta nila, wala pang lasa yung bulalo. I used to go here kapag gusto ko magbulalo pero hindi na mauulit. At yung rice nila is 30 pesos per cup, which is very expensive.
An old friend during the 90’s took me here to try the tapsi, back then it was really good. I was excited to come back and try it again. Sadly the TOCILOG i ordered was dripping with red food coloring and tasted like sweetened meat. The FRIED RICE was clumped and tasted old. The TORTANG TALONG looked really good but had the taste of crab meat. They probably used the same mixing bowl or same cooking pan. The BICOL EXPRESS saved the day. All food were served cold. It was a very dissapointing experience. The owner must have left the country and forgot about her original products. I am sorry but I wont be coming back at all.
We usually visit their branch in Marikina but we would visit this branch sometimes after work or one Sunday night. And just like on their Marikina branch, I love their fried crablets. This is a place to go to if you just want to eat good food or if you miss Tagaytay’s bulalo, fried tawilis and fried crablets with affordable price and even free soup. 🙂
One of the best tapsi shop I’ve visited. Of course, I ordered tapsilog. The best with spicy vinegar. The tapsi is so juicy and flavorful, not enough with just one cup of fried rice. Hahaha. Hoping that they will offer unli fried rice soon. Hahaha
