Lunchtime eatsFood: Great flavor! 5/5Service: Good 4/5Price: 5/5Serving size: Great! w/unli adobo rice5/5Place: average 3/5Overall experience: yummmy, tasty 5 out of five!
Actually sobrang sarap ng food nila even yung kanin compare sa ibang unli rice food restaurant. Kaya sya 3 star because maraming hindi available na food and hindi sya airconditioned. Thats all’
I went here last night to have dinner. As I was eating my food, I noticed some staff were gathered around at a table talking to a customer. Well, it was okay with me. It was none of my business after all. What made pissed was there was nobody to assist the customers to their needs. It was really disappointing.
Went here for lunch with sister and friends. We ordered their Salo-salo Set A. It comes with Pancit Canton, Cracklings (similar to Chicharap), Crispy Kare-Kare, Chicken Adobo, Sinigang na Bangus, 4 servings of rice (with unlimited refills), 4 glasses of iced tea, 2 servings of Pandan Jelly, for Php 599.Their take on Pancit Canton is unique with its tinapa flakes. Noodles and vegies are seasoned well.Cracklings. They’re ok, nothing special.Chicken Adobo. We expected a lot from this as they are an adobo resto. Meat is tender, topped with chicharon bits and spring onions. Seasoned well. But again, nothing special about it.Crispy Kare-kare. It’s basically fried pork strips in kare-kare sauce and veggies. I liked it. It’s tasty even without the alamang it comes with.Pandan Jelly is a little bit too sweet for my liking. But it is topped with vanilla ice cream so i’m happy.Serving time is great. It was pretty fast. However for the unli rice, servers are not always available. And, we had to repeatedly ask for water before it was served. I suggest they put a pitcher or water dispenser somewhere, that could’ve been better.Serving size? Cute. Haha! What looks like a lot in the menu’s photo looks cute in real life. Lol.. their servings of the dishes we ordered are ideal serving portion for one person. So if you want to really enjoy the salo-salo, each perso will get a limited serving of 2 to 3 spoons of serving per dish. Tipid, right? But again, it’s unli rice. So you get little ulam and eat a lot of rice for it to be really sulit. Will be coming back for their crispy kare-kare. 🙂
If you are looking for a variety of Adobo, you should go to Adobo Connection. They have traditional adobo, adobo sa gata, adobo spaghetti, adobo flakes and many more. They also have kare-kare veggies. My brother opt to go here because of the kanin all you can. Another dish on the menu are the usual like fried chicken and spaghetti for the kids. I can say that their fried chicken can compete with the one being serve from fast food chain. It’s crispy and delicious. But my favorite will be the Adobo sa Gata. The gata added more flavor on the adobo. They served it really fast too on this branch. nhengswonderland.net
