They’re really passionate about coffee, they always try to encourage customers to learn more about coffee and try other varieties. 🙂 they also offer coffee tasting for people interested.

I traveled far yesterday just to visit this community cafe that serves two kinds of ube drinks. Too bad I missed them when they were still operating near my area, in Ortigas. Ellipsis is located at the heart of Antipolo City. It’s popular amongst students and young professionals in the area. They serve mostly third wave coffee, unique all-day breakfast meals, and one of a kind desserts. I love how this place incorporated the trendy ube in their menu. Ellipses makes it straight from the kitchen; it is pureed with various ingredients, including salt, to enhance the taste. Ube Latte or Iced Ube? I suggest having both, take the warm version in the morning and cold at night. Don’t worry; it has no caffeine content to it. Ellipses also served me a complimentary plate of Waffle Chicharron. It’s a welcome innovation as it surprisingly worked. You have a combination of slightly fluffy waffle and a crisp contrast from pork skin. No need for the usual bacon! As I chatted with the owner in the bar area, he mentioned too that they are welcome to add new dishes. Maybe you have an idea? I suggested combining the earthy matcha with sweet ube. Been a regular customer of ellipsis since their early stage. Owners/staff have always been so hands on and accommodating everytime we visit. I highly recommend their affogato, long black and cappuccino.
I enjoyed the cupping session. It was really informal and just fun while being informative. I also think their chicken wings is super sulit.
