We love the pasta and pizza. The place was cozy and instagramable. We had a great time chatting because the place was not so crowded. It’s not my first time to try this resto and I am always satisfied. But beware in their promo pasta/pizza all you can. That stopped me from going here anymore. The pasta was bland and the pizza were too thin and unappealing.
The place is inside the mall, but its interior will make you feel that it is a stand-alone. The food were great still, and the staff were accommodating. However, space was limited. I was lucky enough to eat alone because it was a weekday and I ate at lunchtime.
Was lured to eat at this branch upon seeing it featured on Booky. We had the aglio olio (seasoned just fine but pasta’s overcooked), spaghetti with meatballs (same feedback with the other one) and the Margherita pizza which was very disappointing 🙁 It tasted like sky flakes with cheese and nothing else.Good side: Friendly staff, great location
We went here to celebrate Father’s Day, and it was good because although there’s a special holiday, the place wasn’t crowded. The food were also served faster than expected. However, the seafood alfredo has less taste compared to those that I have tasted from the other branch. The cheese pizza was nice! And the pesto that my brother ordered was also good.
I’ve always loved The Old Spaghetti House since grade school. When I saw it in this mall, I decided to relive that and eat there. I ordered their Calamari and Chicken Caesar salad. The calamari was okay, nothing special. It was crispy but a bit rubbery. The aioli was okay too. However, as I was halfway through my chicken caesar salad, I noticed the chicken still had bits of dark pink on it. Not fully red but close enough. I was watching while eating so I barely noticed at first. I told their manager about this and he took my food away to replace it but I asked them to cancel it instead since I was already full.. I’ve just gotten better from having the stomach flu; I’m really worried about salmonella now because of this incident. I wasn’t able to take a photo of the dark pink chicken bits though. Hopefully they’re able to monitor the food they serve out better from this experience.
Service was shit. Went there for lunch earlier today and we were the only customer there. My mom and I already had our hands up because we were ready to order but the waitress was too busy staring blankly so the other waitress patted her and nudged her to get out order. The next was when she was handing out the place mat- she just flung it across the table. Food-wiseStill not that good. We had lunch at this particular branch because we were already familiar with their food since we’ve eaten numerous times at their branch near Valley Golf and we really enjoy eating there however the food in this particular branch was a disappointment. It didn’t do the other restaurant any justice. You can definitely tell that the oil they used to deep fry the Croquette Balls was pretty much recycled and the Colossal Cookie dessert wasn’t an actual colossal- the cookie was thin and stuck to the skillet and hard- basically the bottom was burnt and stuck to the skillet.Ambiance-wiseMusic was too loud and it didn’t match the rusticness of the place. It didn’t match the chill vibe that the place was going for. The ambiance was confused on whether it was a rustic brunch place or an H&M boutique with extremely loud music.
We ordered golden oreo cookie ala mode, classic spaghetti with meatballs, gambasetti and their lenten offer sardine pasta in olive oil (if am not mistaken). What we like is the sardine pasta where the fish in can came as an opener for me to try this kind of flavored pasta. The gambasetti is not quite of good taste (maybe we are not hooked to spicy-ish). My son liked the golden cookie dessert with vanilla ice cream grizzled with chocolate.I like the interiors blended in rustic-modern colors and hand-weaved wall accent in white strips of pvc knit. The customised seat and cover is fluffy.Food and service is good. I would suggest try to ask the customer the level of spiciness when one orders spicy flavored pastas. We will soon try other list on the menu.
