I ordered steak ang eggs una ko napansin sobrang nipis nung steak parang hindi worth it ung price nya. Sayang masarap pa naman ung kimchi rice nya.Service is ok naman. Magalang at attentive ung mga servers.
I am a regular at UCC Clockwork because I love their wide selection of coffee and I enjoy their food too. I was elated when I found out a branch opened just five minutes from home. They have quite a menu and on this visit I tried stuff for the first time – Asian Steak & Eggs and Eiskafee. Their steak & eggs come in 2 variants. I went for Asian because I love kimchi fried rice. While I couldn’t say that the spiciness of the rice came distinctly from kimchi or gojuchiang, I still liked the heat. The angus steak was seasoned nicely and the eggs were flowy. I enjoyed it a lot.The Eiskafee was good too. It was a warm night so the chilled brewed German coffee served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was refreshing and boy, did it pack a punch of caffeine. The only downer for me was that their service water had an unpleasant taste – or maybe it was the ice. Like it was stored for a long time or was stored in an old container that’s not been washed for a while.Service water aside, everything was good. Service was quick and friendly and my food and coffee expectations were met, even exceeded.
After a heavy Romantic Baboy lunch, we headed to UCC Clockwork for coffee / dessert. On my first visig I tried their sumiyaki coffee jelly as I wasn’t much of a coffee drinker. I really liked it with their ice cream! On my latest visit I tried the honey brulee coffee as recommended by sister – it tastes just like Doutor’s (cafe in Japan) honey latte. Mild and kinda sweet! Wish they had more tea options as I’m more of a tea drinker.
I ordered Alkamint(cucumber, apple, orange, lemon and mint) freshly squeezed drink(because I am preggy), bannoffee pie, and tomato beef lasagna. My brother also ordered Adobo flakes pasta(i think, pero d ko na napicturan.hihihi) at iced coffee mocha latte(i think,i just tasted it.heheh). If pwede na ako magkape ulit I’ll try the other types, they have a lot of variants of coffee, gusto kong itry ung mga japanese coffee nila.:) Although pricey pero sulit naman, dahil mabubusog ka, kasi malalaki naman at madami servings. The ambiance is also good since spacious at makakapagrelax ka, good for barkada and yung gusto lang tumambay at magrelax. Medyo maasim lang ung lasagna(which is understood naman dahil it is made of real tomatoes) kaso wala gaanong beef, pero overall sulit naman.:) The food presentation was nice and the service was good.:)
One of the best places to go for coffee lovers. They provide different kinds of beans you could choose from. Probably not the best place to eat because everything seems very expensive.. at least for me.
Their coffee is pricey but worth it. I tried their rosemary grilled chicken which costs P400.00. The serving of the chicken breast was so small. It’s not worth it at all.Serving time for the food was longer than 20 minutes.
