I prefer their coffee than Starbucks. Great indoor location! This is not my first time in Figaro, but first time to leave a review. I love their Magandang Umaga platter, it’s just that the wedges included on the platter was served cold so I had to talk to their crew and have it reheated. I hope they have muscovado sugar and includes spread for the baguette. I also had to ask for vinegar for longganisa, it would have been better if this should be included when they serve the meal. Customer Service needs a little improvement. The staff who served my food was nice and accommodating, forgot to take note his name.Overall, it’s still a good experience.
Now I am not a fan of coffee but I am a big fan of someone who can provide good food. I love how this branch is positioned just outside Sta. Lucia cinema, a good place to hangout in-case you’re waiting for your movie.Grand Xocolat Gateau – a slice of heaven indeed. It’s moist, spongy, frosting is top notch, man o man, it’s just oozing with chocolate goodness!Classic Pepperoni – while the size is meh, it packs big flavors! The crust and cheese are just extraordinary, it doesn’t taste cheap. We went here to prepare for our case study, and the place definitely satisfied our needs:A quiet place inside Sta. Lucia (3.5/5) – you can see the resto besides the cinema house and is away from the huge crowd and noise A fast wifi connection (5/5) – ask for the wifi password, the staff there are really niceGood food and drinks – I was suggested by the cashier to try their Green tea latte frappe (matcha) and it was so good! Kinda too sweet but tolerable enough since they’ll provide you water; the food is good too (one of the cafes wherein you’ll be surprised of the viands offered is actually really good) In all fairness, we spend around 5 working and didn’t get kicked out, and was satisfied in both tummy and mind. 🙂
Weird but I like this place for their food and not their coffee. I love their pasta arrabbiata and ice tea. Their sweet pastries and cakes are also very good especially the cheese cakes
Figaro at Sta Lucia East Grand Mall Theatre Zone, is one of the classiest and coziest dining cafes in the mall. Its decor is classic European. You’d feel the ambiance of an exclusive English cigar club with a dark mahogany wood bar and wall accents with heavy moldings, unpronounced lighting and subdued background music. They have a small garden with a fountain on one corner where the continuous flow of water soothes the senses. Leather lounge chairs and sofas are available to the lucky few. And they have an enclosed smoking area to accommodate some customers who just want to have their coffee with cigarettes. They do provide free Wi-Fi which is an added bonus. For snacks, we ordered the Chicken Quezadilla specially made in-house with mozzarella cheese, slices of white chicken, green bell peppers and mayonnaise. The flour tortilla was crispy and the stuffing had a delightfully creamy taste with some hints of herbs. The order was paired with 12 oz. Iced Coffee. We also tried their Eclair, which matched well with the coffee. We were very satisfied with the taste and we feel that the items we ordered were reasonably priced. JD, one of their diligent staff, effectively rendered a welcoming service.
Good staff, fast wifi, socket for charging and not crowded. This place is my go-to-place whenever i want to focus on my studies, thesis, etc. Abusive as it may seem they don’t mind if you ordered one drink and stayed there for the whole day. But due to their delicious menu you cant resist ordering especially their homemade ice tea.
This being my first day back in the gym after the holidays, I wanted something rather light for lunch. I decided to have lunch at Figaro while waiting for my ride home. I ordered the chicken a la kiev, which was served with pasta carbonara and potato wedges. My dish had four generous slices of the roulade, and the pasta had slices of bacon instead of the usual imitation bacon crumble. Really good! I wish the pasta sauce was thicker and the potato wedges had more seasoning. facebook.com
