Located along Marikina-Infanta Highway, this humble Japanese restaurant serves authentic cuisine at an affordable price. The restaurant has ample parking space available at the Pinnacle, adequately lit with friendly servers. I think the ambiance needs more attention and improvement. We ordered the following:1. Chirashidon (P378)2. Mentai Cheese Gyoza (P225) – Cheese gyozas is getting popular nowadays. This is more than an average mentai gyoza due to it’s rich and juicy filling. No sauce needed!3. Fukurou Roll (P265)4. Japanese Cheesecake (P198) – This fluffy cheesecake gives sweet satisfaction. It makes you want to order more. Plus points for warming it up!
This restaurant have been quietly serving people of Marikina and surrounding places for quite sometime now along Marcos Highway. The ambiance is calm and crisp.Tidy and minimalist.Nice servers and Good food.We enjoyed the following food:SUKIYAKI 5/5- the flavorful soup made ask for more plus the tender beef included in it.SASHIMI MORIAWASE 5/5- I love sashimi, everything in this bowl is awesome. The salmon, tuna, saba and squid are all freshky made.TEMPURA MORIAWASE 3/5- I like how the shrimp tempura and vegetables tempura were cooked but I think they should add more.TARO SOBA 3/5- first time to eat cold noodles and I find it a little unusual and bland. Maybe I neef to try it again.FRIED MAKI 5/5- this fried maki doesn’t look like its fried but I do love the flavorful taste of it.VEGETABLE FRIED RICE 4/5- just the right taste and healthier with the veggies.SABA SHIOYAKI 4/5- perfect for the vegetable rice.TEBASAKI 4/5- I like how it was cooked but for me, it needs more salt.YAKI SAMON MAYO 4/5- taste good and just right. For the dessert:JAPANESE CHEESECAKE 3/5- first time to try a japanese cheesecake, expected something like the usual cheesecake but it looks like a mamon for me just fluffier.KINAKO KUROMITSU MOCHI ICE CREAM 5/5- mochi with ice cream is just so good.and don’t forget theirBREWED ICED TEA 5/5- taste awesome and it is not powdered!Everything is made fresh and flavorful!FUKUROU NIHONRYORIPinnacle Plaza, Marcos Highway,Marikina City…@fukurouphilippines #fukurounihonryori #kwenthoughtelling #pauoiefoodandlife#foodandlife #welovetoeatph #wheninmarikina #japanesefoodlover#japanesecuisine #japanesefood#sashimi pauoiefoodandlife.wordpress.com
