Wendy’s has been innovating and improving menu items every once in a while to fit customer preferences. This fast food outlet in Sta Lucia East Grand Mall, was clean and looked organized. The staff seemed upbeat and friendly. Also, it’s has Free Wifi which was good.During our previous visit, we had the Bacon Mushroom Melt and Pulled Pork Cheese Fries which was offered on Limited time only. Recently, we ordered their Crunchy Spring Rolls, Chile Con Carne Rice and Macaroni Side Salad. The items tasted okay and priced affordably for a light meal or a quick snack. The place rarely gets crowded and noisy.
I have always loved Wendy’s but there are just so few stores that I hardly ever find one. My son had a moving up ceremony and he wanted to eat at Wendy’s so we went to their Sta Lucia Mall branch. I was pretty happy to discover that they had a Burger Bundle meal for 389php for 3! The burgers still taste the same as it was when I was in High school! They also have these new frosties in Mango, Blueberry and Oreo flavors. The staff are helpful and attentive. The area is clean and well lit. Perfect for students and families.
A Wendy’s meal always brings back memories of lunch sessions with former Unilever colleagues. Craving a full meal with rice, I ordered a two-piece fried chicken meal with biggie fries, biggie iced tea, and a tiny Frosty. The chicken tends to be on the salty side, but it’s always crisp and rarely greasy. Its french fries are just as good as McDonalds, one of the best yet inexpensive sides across fastfood restaurants. I normally dont review fast food, in fact this is my first fast food review, but when I do there’s got to be a story behind it.. Here it goes.. I went on a Sunday for a meeting with our Missions Team for an upcoming outreach when suddenly I felt all nostalgic! I used to go to Wendy’s a lot before the metro has decided to put up tons of new restaurants here and there. I had memories of watching my mom build a nice tower of salad and Im proud with how tall ours can get comparing it with other salads from our neighboring tables. They have removed it for quite some time and I was glad to see that it has made a comeback! I challenged myself to make a tall tower of salad but my poor gross and motor skills + not so careful planning (lol, yes it requires that) failed at aiming to make it look like mom’s. The ingredients were fresh but not like how I remember it to be back then. Other items weve ordered were the chicken breast sandwich and bacon cheeseburger (combo meal, with fries and drink) and extra serving of their new crisscut fries smothered with bbq ranch sauce and bacon bits. Also had an additional macaroni salad to-go! Burgers were flavorful and made from fresh ingredients. The manager in this branch was so accommodating, even cheering us in making our own salad tower. The place looks a bit old but a given as its located in an old mall too. While discovering new restaurants keep me happy/busy, I might be revisiting old/trusty ones more often than not.
i did not enjoy their baked potato. the chili was not impressive. place was extremely cold. fries are not as satisfying as before. the side salad is not as ‘happy’ as before. glad there’s wifi. you’d have to register though.
Super love their Salad Bar for only 199pesos. Their menus of Salad bar consist of Caesar Dressing, Tomato slices, Thousand Island, Potato Salad, Grated Carrot, Grated Cheese, Cucumber, Gelatin, Hard Boiled Egg, Iceberg and lastly Macaroni Salad. Thumbs up! We also ordered their basic hamburger and frosty. It taste yummy.
