We drove all the way up here to check this place out. It was a Sunday so although there was quite a bit of traffic going up, we managed to find this quaint little italian resto in the heart of San Roque, Upper Antipolo. The place was not too big but not too small either. I guess it was a slow Sunday since we were the only ones inside. The waitress gave us the menu and we ordered the Italian Wedding Soup, Chef’s salad, Tiramisu, Quattro Formagio and Spaghetti Bolognese which comes with a free dessert. I also ordered their home brewed iced tea. While we wait for our order, we were given two pieces of bread with vinaigrette dip. It was hot and good. The food was authentic italian and bf and I were so full when we left. The pizza crust was just about right, it’s thin crust and crispy. The spaghetti bolognese was not too oily nor did it lack that flavor. The serving was hefty but I did not share because I came there famished (haha) You can really taste the freshly squeezed tomato in the sauce and i love it. I asked bf about his italian wedding soup and he said it tasted okay. He said that the broth tasted like something he would prepare mixed with sayote and carrots. “It was fine”, he said. However, I did not like the home brewed ice tea. It tasted more like a “salabat” than iced tea, I did not enjoy it at all. The price for such a sumptuous meal is just about right. It won’t put a hole in your pocket but the food sure will fill you up. If will be given another chance, i’d like to try their other dishes. Thank you!

Food 4. Ambience 3. Price 4. Service 4. Food is very good. We had putanesca and aglio olio and they were properly cooked. Obviously the cook knew how to emulsify the oil based sauce. The pumpkin soup is at par with any five star hotel. Ambience is okay, nice clean and quaint. If there would be for improvement is the pizza which is not the fluffy authentic dough, but still a solid 4 on taste.
If you guys wants a laid back place, try il Ristorante Di Antonio. The food is great and they have accomodating staff
The food, the place and the service reminds me of my trips to ItalyAuthentic Italian cuisine Quality over quantity How often do meet the chef when you eat in a restaurant? Thank you for the great experience and company Chef Jennifer and staff. We will definitely comeback
Super good food at reasonable prices. We got quatro formaggi, capriciossa, lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, carbonara, fetuccini, and aglio olio. It was so good we forgot to take photos until we were halfway through the meal haha! Definitely a hidden gem in Antipolo one should visit when in the area.
At first I was quite doubtful since it was my first time to be here, I have always been particular with food especially when it comes to pastas and pizzas. Once the food was served on our table, I surprisingly felt hungrier as I took my first bite. Their pizza had a tremendous flavor, it was quite different from the usual pizzas I’d taste, but I consider it as one of my favorite pizzas. Pasta? Well-cooked and flavorful, especially when it comes to pestos, in most Italian restaurants I have encountered all I would usually taste is bland oil and little bit of herbs but their pasta didn’t disappoint. They proved me wrong because I always thought pestos are supposed to taste bland, and I’m thankful that they gave me a new experience. As for their rice meals, I ordered their beef tapa, and reasons why I’m happy with it because of how tender the beef is and how it’s not too salty and even if it was garlic-ky it wasn’t the type that was too much. I would highly recommend this place especially if you’re highly into pizzas and pastas, it’s a great place where you can lessen the need of breaking your budget, and the staff there is accommodating which we also loved about the restaurant. Please do visit their restaurant! ❤️
