About
The person behind the success of Mon's Grill was a native of Molave Zamboanga del Sur. She was educated both in Molave and Mahayag and took up Associate in Commerce at Blancia Carreon College. Unfortunately, she dropped school to help her parents run their fish stall as a means on family revenue. She was married in 1999 to Lloyd Monteadora and was blessed with 4 children. Brenda Tubigon Monteadora started her entrepreneurial skills as a teenager, helping her mom sells fish at the public market. Even after marriage, she continues to sell fish until 2002 when a young family of 4 decided to open a junk shop. Unable to find her business niche, she decided to close the junk shop in 2012 and a year after, open the first branch of Mon's Grill in Mahayag. Mon's Grill since became synonymous to halo-halo and has hailed whooping reviews from customers all over the country prompting them to open 4 more branches in 2017.
