The Tavern Your favorite place in the heart of Gdynia! Usual customers call us "The Green Tavern". Maybe it's because there are many green elements in the old ship mess hall-styled interior or maybe because a genuine tree trunk has grown into its center. It can also bring to mind Green Ireland, about which many chanties had been composed and sung. At the Tavern, you can not only listen to sailor songs, there is also good rock music played live here - every day starting from 8 p.m. The rush here never dies down, except, maybe near 5 o'clock in the morning, when last guests are leaving and we have to tidy up the hall, clean it up and prepare for serving breakfast. Its cost is between 7 and 16 pln, so it is very popular. Delicious, giant-sized omelets baked with cheese are worth recommending. After having such breakfast you will probably get hungry only in the evening. However, those who consider lunch as the most important meal of the day, as well as those, who enjoy lunch for two or with friends, will be satisfied with the rich and original food offer from the Tavern. The Tavern serves mainly fish and seafood. We offer thirteen main courses with sea fish, as well as with fish from the Kashubian Lakes. Guests admire halibut steaks, sea feast and mackerel icefish. Seafood enthusiasts can order shrimps fried in butter, wine and garlic or Marinara pasta. Our cuisine is one of a kind and it makes you want to come back. Or maybe it is because of the mood created by wooden floor and tables bathing in warm, golden light, a bar encouraging with colours of carelessness and hope for adventure?
