SZTYGARKA COMPLEX Magic of post-industrial space What could be more pleasant than a few moments of rest? Moments of relaxation in Sztygarka! The complex is located in the centre of Upper Silesian nest of greenery and quiet area. It is a complex of historical buildings, located within the former President mine (formerly King mine) in Chorzow. It is hard not to draw attention here to the restored beauty of industrial Silesia. Now, in the former canteen for engineers and foremen, there is a historical President Restaurant. In the interwar period such outstanding personalities as Presidents of the Republic of Poland Stanisaw Wojciechowski and Ignacy Moscicki, as well as a prominent Upper Silesia activist, Wojciech Korfanty, were spending time here. You can find here also cosy Pod Wieza Cafe, Pod Wieza Guesthouse, a hoist tower of the President Shaft. Fell free to participate many of cultural events in Sztygarka, i.e. concerts, spectacles and others.
