The Best eal I had in Praia da Rocha was a chicken kebab in a pita at Doner Kebab. Coming from Toronto, a city with an abundance of international cuisine, and with quite a few shwarma places, I am rather particular about my food. I really enjoyed the food here and the fact that the owners were so attentive and friendly made the experience even more special. Look for the Shwarma sign as you walk down the main strip and then turn off the strip and walk a couple stores. With prices starting at 4 Euro for a shwarma sandwhich it is worth looking for!
