On your way out of town, but well worth a visit. My wife and I both had fish, but lots more on the menu. Staff are friendly and speak good English, so can help you with your choice.
It’s actually on the main road Rua das Escolas, before the dead-end leading to the railway. Typical rustic restaurant with wholesome food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the speciality fish stew, typical of the region.
This is my first restaurant review ever!! Antiga Taberna is the best restaurant we visited during my trip in Albureira (the food is fresh/ affordable prices and very friendly staff) I highly recommend this restaurant.
