Casa da Quinta is set on a very generous plot of land near Almancil. There is a sweeping, landscaped entrance taking you up to the attractve main building and some lovely umbrella pinetrees surround the restaurant. Inside is spacious and bright, with a comfortable bar for pre- and post-dinner drinks. The garden terrace is large and is the perfect place for lazy summer meals. Casa da Quinta has a varied menu. There are international dishes as well as portuguese and Algarve dishes. You can opt for the local Catch of the Day, John Dory fillets, prawn curry, great steaks, Chateubriand or the simple but delicious chicken piri-piri. There is a good wine list, with a selection of local, national and international wines. The Fernandes family has a great welcome for all their guests many of whom have been dining at their restaurants for years.
