We came upon this restaurant at the end of a long day of walking. We didn’t have a reservation but were seated quickly. The setting is beautiful and food was delicious – a nice selection of seafood dishes as well as steaks.
We had the grilled octopus. A little bit too cheewy, but tasty. Good service and ambiance. The wine was good but served too warm.
We possibly ate our best meal in Clara Chiado,on our visit to Lisbon . Great service and excellent advice on wine. We were even persuaded to buy a bottle to take home. Lovely atmosphere and good value for money. I would highly recommend it.
In comparison to the restaurants near our excellent hotel (altis avenida) this restaurant was bliss and offered delicious food and wine for the same price as awful food eaten the previous evening friendly service from Brazilian waiter
