We are specialized in Conventual Pastry, a Traditional Portuguese Pastry with 500 years old - the ovos moles de aveiro, the pão de ló de ovar, the pastel de nata, the pudim abade de priscos, the pão de rala, the pastel de tentugal, dozens of divine récipes from all over Portugal. This Pastry was created in the 16th century inside the monasteries by the nuns. From North to south of Portugal each convent created divine specialities that enchanted kings, ispired poets, conquered fame around the world and it's place in Portugal History . Casa dos ovos moles serves delicious portuguese sweets which originated in convents throughout Portugal. They are made with egg yellow that was left over after the nuns used the egg whites to starch their habits.They are delicious!
Such delicious ice cream. Extremely friendly staff great flavours and great value. Tucked away beside the estrela park. I visited with friends during a brief stay. they speak English which was also very helpful.
The atmosphere is surely lovely and cute. Nice decoration. Pastry range is quite good also but might not be as delicious as some others in town. Enjoyable enough though. On pricing, it is a bit higher than average.
