We had planned to eat here for all three nights, but left it at one. Food only OK. I had fish, which looked good, but didn’t taste of anything. companions had curry, and steak and said the same.
Adjacent to the pousada, and across the street from the palace. The food is typical Portuguese cuisine, but very well prepared. Beef and mushrooms – very nice. Lunch special – appetizer, main course, wine, dessert, coffee – 12 euro! HIGHLY recommended.
