Barao Palace is a local favorite, but I didn’t understand why. Nice buffet, nothing special without local specialties, and very poor service. Not being expensive it is not cheap for what you get.
I ate here as part of a conference banquet. Great rooftop deck with beautiful views. Decent cocktails. Food was fine overall, but ate in banquet area not the restaurant. Overall great service, nice ambiance, adjacent to black sand beach.
