CASA: slow food coffee bar tea house Opened in 2008 in the city of Horta, in the Azores, CASA is a unique place in Faial Island due to the singularity of space and architecture, as well as the composition of its menu. CASA is a place to come, to be and to let yourself stay. A magnificent place to meet friends, to relax, to read a book, to hang out, to have ideas, to celebrate. A charming place with a delicious menu with options for snacking, lunch, dinner or drink. The menu of the CASA was elaborated by Eugnio Viana based on the concept of "Market Cooking" and "Slow Food", that is, most of the products of the menu varies in the day to day to ensure the use of regional products , fresh, organic and from the season. We had dinner in the Case Teahouse & Bar in Horta.Excellent vegetarian dishes & several types of sandwiches. Extraordanary deserts. Perfect & friendly service. Great location. Nice atmosphere.When the restaurant should have been opened the day after our visit, we should have returned.

Behind its walls, the Tea House is an oasis of peace and quiet, greenery, and gentle people. It is the perfect getaway from the busy life of Horta. Plus, the food is excellent.
Great environment ,no rush atmosphere. Food was very good and freshly made. Staff friendly and accommodating Would recommend.
