Place does have great views, but if Your looking for great food, I would suggest somewhere else. It is a great place in a college town for students to get a meal on a budget, but nothing more.
This is a backstreet cafe which takes no account of the view. Popular with students and locals , it offers cheap eats and daily specials, smoking area (inside), so you can have a beer and a ciggie!
If you’re travelling on a budget, this is the best place to eat in Coimbra. It’s a big café, very close to the University.
Simple but good and friendly cafe/eatery right behind University. Frequented by students and locals. Lunch and dinner same prices. Simple canteen like interior but fantastic view across Mondego river and mountains.Good standard Portuguese plate service fare. Efficient and friendly staff.Good prices.
