We had to wait for about an hour in a very noisy room for a Feijoada de peix which was average and a grilled Bacalhao that was as dry as a flip-flop. There must certainly be better restaurants around.
It’s a perfect place to have a perfectly cooked meal. It has an extended menu choice of fresh fish and meat dishes and there are also vegetarian options. I recomend: Espetada do Mar, Espetada Mista or Bacalhau à Casa.

Good food and good service. I had the grilled squid, which was excellent. For dessert I had the orange cake, which wasn’t that great, but not that bad either. Prices are good as well. Probably will return for another meal.
Cantarinha is one of the few restaurants in Figueira that I advise my friends because it is impossible to be poorly served here.With a menu full of typical fish dishes, octopus and cod are the kings.
I come here every time that I’m in Figueira and it’s always very good with excellent fish and kind service. A must
