We stopped by to rehydrate after a long day from Obidos and many kilometers to come, Tomar has it charm, and this place also..very nice staff!
Great coffee place, still in it’s original looks from beginning of XX. The menu as been a bit upgraded, but it’s keeps the basic pastelaria items.
We entered for a quick lunch and were surprised by good tosts and sandwiches, good cold Sagres beer service with a smile and a nice view on the Rua Serpa Pinto.
Located at the pedestrian street it’s a very old cafe where some artists ,mainly writers used to go.Today foos is quite poor with very little choices.Service : very average
This charming historic cafe could double for a 1930s movie set. I could just imagine plotting a revolution here. Good cheap coffee.
