Stumbled upon this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious house salad – sweet onions and flavourful dressing (a change from typical Portuguese house salad). Ordered the fish platter to share – very good. Profiteroles for dessert were also delicious. Cozy atmosphere and great service.
This restaurant is on its own down a side street in Tomar. The dining room is upstairs in what appears to be an old house and food is also served in the beautiful garden. The food (and wine was) very good traditional Portuguese.
We ordered variety of ocean fish and pork chops too. All the dishes were excellent. The waiter was profesional and efficient. The chef came from kitchen for feedback. She was happy to hear our opinion. Prices are higher than average but yet, value for money.
Very delicious food, served with a smile. Lovely to sit in the shadows in the garden, when it is 35 degrees.
The mussel for entry was the best I ate. Ir was made with the sea wather and really has a delicious flavor. Staff and place excelents.
