This very traditional place is one of the best places in Aveiro to be with friends, have a good laugh and eat good food. Recommend!
We were the only diners on a Wednesday night and were made to feel very welcome by the chef and his wife who are the only two staff. Food was simple but tasty and the wine excellent.
Slightly off the tourist track, very un pretentious and basic but good, freshly prepared fish dishes. As good as other restaurants but considerably cheaper. Just a chef and a waiter, very good and helpful service. Excellent portions, around7-8 euros for main course. Would return.
Tasty food and friendly staff. Typical portuguese cuisine. Genius loci. Really cheap prices in comparison with other Aveiro restaurants.
