Like many places in this area, not a tasteful setting. But at least the “cabrito” was very tasteful. General disappointment with this whole area when you’re arriving after three hours driving from Lisbon.
We both enjoyed our meals, but unfortunately the whole experience was ruined by very frosty service. The young waitress only seemed to get slightly more pleasant towards the end of our meal, presumably hoping for a tip.
We’ve been visiting this restaurant for years. Every time we come to S Pedro do Sul, we eat here at least once. The meat dishes are excellent.
Very good food! Very good service! Excellent meat and cod fish! Excellent for families and friends. We shall return.
Great variety of traditional food and wines, good view across the mountain and the village, warm welcoming and good staff looking after us all time.It is a place to be delighted. A place to come back.
