Had a lovely coffee and drinks for the boys and hubby here. There were sandwiches, cakes and other hot food and salads served here too with a good menu choice and again reasonably priced but we’d already eaten coming through Funchal old town.
Standard cafe but the views were lovely and hence well worth a stop.Surprisingly I also had my best custard tart here..
Had a short break in this cafe and over tea/soft drink and cake, enjoyed? The cacophony of noise from the noisy toads in the adjacent ponds.Nothing special – just your average coffee shop but where it does differ is in he views.
We just had a drink but the food looked lovely. A very welcome stop during our extensive trail around the gardens.
Valley it goes over had a fire a few years ago and it was encouraging to see the greenery that had grown back and nature’s recovery.
