Dear Costumers: The restaurant "Caldeirao Verde" opened its doors to the public at 24-06-2015. The space it's still very new but we've been in this business for almost 30 years. We chose to serve traditional food being one of our specialities the famous "espetada madeirense" (beef on a skewer), BBQ chicken, beef chops among others. We stopped here after going up Pico Ruivo. The owners were very friendly, the espetadas were brilliantly cooked and marinated and the sides were huge. Very tasty and incredible value for money.
The Caldeirão Verde Restaurante represent well the art os well serving the client. Madeiran tradicional dishes use to be served in the daily dishes. The quantities are very good as well as the prices.
We’ve visited Verde just after our trip to near levada. Food was great and worth its price. Ponche was very tasty!
