It didnt look very welcoming as we approached it on our levada walk, but the service was friendly and beer was good, so don’t be put off.
We came across this place on our first day of travels and fell in love with it. The food is really good tasting and you feel very welcome to be there. We visited it perhaps 4 or 5 times during our 2 week trip.
Great place for a delicious meal and get together with friends. Excellent service. I will definitely come back for more.
Lovely little roadside cafe – just what the doctor ordered when walking on the levada. Welcoming cuppa or even a beer – and they do food – served with a smile
Good place to stop off for a drink or snack on the Levada dos Piornais walk close to Funchal. Nice touch giving us pate and a few crackers to go along with our drinks!
