Great place for super, inexpensive snacks. Used by many locals, which is a good recommendation for me. Nice helpful staff and being bang in the centre of Funchal, it is a must for several visits.

Went here daily for coffee and madeira cake best in town only 2 euros as wellMost other places 3 euros for coffee on its own
Visited this place at least once a day during our stay, for coffee, the odd sandwich and fresh orange juice (which was very good). Inexpensive prices and friendly service. Decent little place.
Stayed for 10 nights at the Enotel Lido hotel and popped into this bar/Cafe about 4/5 times. Really great service and very friendly. The custard tarts are the best we had anywhere and a beer was 1.35 Euro. Excellent and great place to people watch.
