About
The Cabrestante Restaurant is located in the Canial, parish of the municipality of Machico. Here you will have the opportunity to taste the best flavors coming from the Sea both in terms of Seafood as well as Fish as an alternative you can also count on good steaks of the first quality fresh meat. And speaking of quality this restaurant follows the HACCP standards thus guaranteeing not only quality with hygiene and safety, counting thus with a professional team that waits for you to serve you attentively. It is also in the Canial that is the only natural sand beach in Madeira called Prainha being quite famous and where in summer there is a great influx of local people and tourists. At the level of festivals stands out the Arraial of Our Lady of Mercy where there is a procession very curious because the pilgrims make the procession, not by foot, but by boat and where anyone can participate, entering a boat for free. This village reaches about 30,000 visitors. Come and pay a visit toDetails

This restaurant is in a great location right by the harbour. Interior looks more like a cafe rather than a restaurant, but the food is very good and well priced.
Good food for average price. We ate as entry Bolo do Caco, a very good bread typical of Madeira Island and Fisher’s Soup, very tasteful. As main we had Espada with shrimps, very good.
