Very nice and charming place with great host and delicious food. I have tried the best green wine in my life.It was my last day in Portugal and it was really amazing.

Had a lovely simple lunch here – smoked meats, cheese and bread with a glass of wine. The meats were very delicious.Very well priced with good service.
Nice tappas place. just drop in and enjoy the hospitality. we took a plate of all kind of tappas, a bottle of vino verde and enjoyed the simple, historical ambiance. a place for a break or simple lunch
Felt we were experiencing ‘proper’ Portuguese fare – lovely local wine, hams, melon, sausage – with a very nice friendly young lady with excellent English who served us. Also, amazing value – a must when in Amarante!
Never in my life have I tasted smoked ham like this – in a fresh bread roll with local white wine – just the best – truly the best.
