Story Restaurant House of the Chickens of Baltar It is in a secular and referential house in the town of Baltar Paredes, which was born in this restaurant at a time when Baltar was already a center of road crossing by the national road No. 15, and a point of passage for many who went here to the cities north Amarante and Vila Real and to the south the city of Porto. The maraca "House of the Chickens of Baltar", is born by the need to feed the many who pass here in their work, leisure, as well as the locals and neighbors, who are moving here. We were at the beginning of the century in 1924, when it opened this space, in a house that had been built in 1863, where it would be the stopping point for many foreigners who hungry and thirsty, fed here to their needs.
