A great unplanned stop. Only one dish but excellent and extremely good value for money. Came in a large 2 person dish with fried crisps and a rice and salad dish on the side. Only Portuguese and French spoken but sign language worked. Fantastic.

The restaurant is located on the main road (N108) with a pleasant view over the Douro Valley. The staff was very attentive and the food was of high quality. The “Posta” was exquisite. Would definitely return.

Just had lunch here. We sat upstairs on the balcony. The combination of good Portuguese food and an amazing view of the river makes this lunch ‘as good as it gets’ Lovely staff made us feel really welcome. We will be back!!
Good vire only on upper balcony (4 tables).Poor wine choice.Excelent service, experienced staff.Noisy street.
