Just a friendly atmosphere and great service. Water front views of Porto are just wonderful. Very relaxing and laid back.
Owners are friendly and authentic, food is delicious (we had some fish grilled on the bbq and some wonderful cheese/marmelade) and price is worth it. Forget those turistic restaurants near the Porto caves, run to this place, it’s 10 min more by foot!
They charge 4, 2 euros for a simple wine and a beer. Twice as much as central Porto. We didn’t even look at the menu.
This little old school bistro on Duoro river is a bit far from the center of Villa Nova de Gaia, but worth it. You will eat tasty food for a very low price and the fish is grilled outside, right next to you 🙂
