As you walk across the dome de LuÃs the bridge in Gaia, you will observe many family run Portuguese restaurants. Rabelos was actually not one of them. It was a proper high end restaurant serving authentic Portuguese dishes. Too save on expense, we only ordered the bread and main course. The breads as you would expect were excellent along with olives and cheese. We ordered the following :- Olivos Pasta:- Traditional pasta cooked with lives and generous dose of mushroomBachlau du nata / Cod fish stew:- the famous bachlau fish of Portugal. Cod fish served as a stew with the potatoes and olives. Bachlau fish fry served with veggies. One of our best culinary experience in Portugal.
