My favorite dishes at Fanar include meat hanid, foul, meat mogalgal, meat ogda and shakshoka.Always a pleasure to eat at this joint as they never disappoint you. Service is fast and staff are friendly. Language can be a barrier as the staff only speak Arabic.

Highly recommended, Excellent food with authentic Yemeni dishes and with good breakfast options. Would not recommend on rice options.
If you are looking for succulent chicken and Mandi rice this is the place. We found this Yemeni restaurant very nice. The karak is also very nice and perfect for winter evenings. You can sit and enjoy the wakra souq while sipping on your tea.
Very good traditional food Very good servicesExcellent viewGood priceI liked more lahm mukalkel & liver with their breadOnly if they can prepare better place for washing hands
Basic place but good food at a good price. Had the fahsa and chicken oqda with khubz. The food itself was very good and a generous portion for the price. However, we couldn’t really order anything else because nothing else was available! This was on a Friday evening so you’d think it would be the time they’d have a full stock of food. Compared with some of the other over-priced places in Wakrah Souq, I would still recommend this place for a quick bite.
