The Bhuna kichuri (chicken, avoid the lamb) is really good, full of flavor. The biriyani is recommended. Sweets are really good considering the place and price, but to my enriched Bangladeshi pallet (I moved here a year ago), they are just good. One other thing I love here, Paya. Made on weekends, the paratha is also great. If U really want to indulge in breakfast, go for Paya paratha. Try evening nashta as well. Must add, it’s not a family restaurant. Takeaway recommended.
Well, I do love Bengali food, but for this restaurant, I would rate them just for their Bhuna Kichuri (Chicken) and for their Chicken Biriyani, in Bangladeshi Style. Oh, and while in there, why not indulge in some good, real Bangladeshi Sweet like Roshogulla, Sondesh, Rosh Malai and Cham Cham, etc. There are just a rare handful of Bangladeshi Sweet Shop in Qatar, and this one right in Wakra is my one-stop shop for occasions and festives :DThe drawbacks: no proper family sitting, and lacks much of cleanliness (in and out)The dos: Enjoy the Bhuna Khichuri and the Sweets..in the Bangladeshi Style!!!
